Walmart expansion needed

I hope the powers that be in the Poway City Hall do not fall victim to the 450 nay sayers against the Walmart Superstore.

I could stand at the Walmart entrance and count 450 in less than an hour of faithful shoppers that would love more groceries and big ticket items. Remember the motto, “For the good of the many.”

The slogan “City in the Country” has not included Poway Road or the area around it for ages. Shopping abounds, apartment complexes, auto lots, fast food outlets, and a vast array of other non-country entitles; plus Poway Road is jammed at peak hours, not around the clock. As for waves of outsiders shopping here, it is prejudiced, I think. We know for whom it is meant.
